This is conclusion time and it is meant for you our visitor. We have looked at our Educational System and its strengths and weaknesses. The workplace was also examined with its advantages and disadvantages. We looked at the tools needed to improve the work environment. Those tools are not generally understood to be necessary components of the Educational System nor are they used by the enterprise to educate its own personnel. We have concluded that the enterprise would be better served by society and the ones who work within the enterprise if the required skills were a part of generally accepted job knowledge.

What skills are we speaking about?

They are:

Working knowledge of spread sheet programs

Knowledge of budgeting process (implies some accounting)

Knowledge of the preparation and use of work measurement standards

Knowledge of how to prepare and use methods and procedures

             Knowledge of text writing systems

Working knowledge of how to use Request For Quotation (RFQ) systems

Working knowledge of how to establish and use Profit Improvement Programs (PIP)

With the above information as general knowledge within the work place, we will begin to realize the true moderization of our enterprises. When we see these disciplines used within the enterprise, we will see what these implemented activities can do to improve the working conditions for all concerned.
